Wool—At the Bale to-day 14,500 bales were submitted, which met with a firm and actire demand. 185,800 bales have been catalogued since the commencement of the series, of which number 4500 bales were withdrawn from auction. The fourth series of colonial'wool'salen wilL. open on tbs 7th September, fifth series will commence on the 23rd November. July 3. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is stated to be 2.050.000 quarter*, 60,000 less than this day last week.
