It is understood that the General Post-office are awaiting the expression of the views of the colonies regarding the tenders for the federal mail service before taking any action in the matter.

The “Groevenor Gallery’’ will Bend fifteen pictures to the Jubilee Exhibition, if it is under Government patronage.

Sir Samuel Davenport has been enrolled as a member of the Ironmongers Society. New York, July 2.
