The Brilish Hansard has just reached its fourth century of volumes. Since 1803 not a word has been spoken in the Houses of Parliament but has been faithfully chronicled here. Besides the actual debates from 1803, a complete set of Hansard includes the Parliamentary history as far us it can be collected from 1066 to 1803. Such has been the accuracy of its record that to the present day no official reports are taken of the debates, and Hansard is always received as am unimpeachable authority.
