TO THE ELECTORS OE GERALDINE ENTLEMEN, — In compliance with the wishes of a number of Eiectors, I offer my Services to you -as your Representative in the next Parliament. I trust that my residence among you, the identity of my interests with yours, and the part that I have taken in public affairs over a long course of years, will be deemed by you sufficient reasons for reposing, your confidence in me. .No efforts on my part will be wanting to justify that confidence. On the rising ■ f Parliament I will take an early opportu ity of addressing you. Yours faithfully, WILLIAM ROLLESTON. Wellington, June 16th, 1884. jul7 ELECTORS OF GERALDINE TUESDAY, JULY 15, at 7.30 p.m. M E R OLLESTON Requests the TO MEET HIM AT WINCHESTER, ON

Requests the ELEDTORS OF GERALDINE TO MEET HIM AT RANGXTATA, ON TUESDAY, JULY 15th. A.t MILFORD and WAITOHt on dates to be given in future notice. iys

TO THE ELECTORS OF GERALDINE, BROTHER ELECTORS —Having been repeatedly asked to come forward as a Candidate for the representation of this district, I have at length consented to do so. I waited in the hope of seeing a more able man brought, forward in the interests of the working classes, and am therefore late in the held, but there is good time yet. Reserve your pledges until you hear my views, which I shall be happy to lay before you at the earliest possible opportunity, though not necessarily before the day of nomination. I am decidedly opposed to the present Government, and am anxious to do what I can to bring about a thorough change in the administration of our public affairs, believing as I do that to the late Governwent—and the corrupting influences of the Bank of New Zealand and other large Land and Loan Companies that have been brought to bear upon it—this Colony owes its present depressed and impoverished condition. My services therefore are at your disposal. If you do me the honor to elect me you will not regret it. I want no Committee, but will simply rely upon the good sense of the people as a whole to secure my return. I am, Gentlemen, Yours truly, j y J2 FRANCIS FRANKS. MR FRANKS’ MEETINGS.
