Mr W. P. Turton, Waihi Bush, invites tenders for forming a carriage drive. Messrs Taylor and Flatman, Woodbury, have 40 acres of turnips for sale, to be fed off before the end of June nex*. Messrs Priest and Holdgate notify that they are now boohing orders for the McCormick Eeaper and Twine Binder, and will give references to any purchaser of these machines last season. Messrs Priest and Holdgate are the sole agents for South Canterbury, and as the machine is a favorite with farmers, they should book many orders. Mr J. D. Slater, of Sydenham House, invites visitors to Timaru to pay him a visit before purchasing any clothing, etc., they may require, as he has on hand a splendid stock of Eaiapoi clothing, tweeds, blankets, hosiery, etc. ; in fact every article —of the best quality—likely to be found, in a first class drapery and clothing establishment.
