AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, Sept. 18. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local grain market as follows : Shipping wheat 4s lOd to 4s lid ; market quieter. Malting barley, 5s to 6s ; market depressed. New Zealand" bats in fair demand at 2s lid to 3s 2d for feeding, and 3s 2d to 3s 3d for milling sorts ; ditto oats, under bond, 2s 2d to2s4d. ENGLISH MAEKETS. London, Sept. 17. The grain market continnes with a downward tendency. Adelaide wheat, ex store, remains at 47s ; JSew Zealand do has fallen Is U per quarter, and is now quoted at 41s to 45s ; Adelaide flour 335. The tallow market is unchanged. Australian—best beef 40s, best mutton 41s. At the wool sale to-day 11,700 bales were offered. The market continues firm. _^
