Aug 2. | It has beon decided that the trial of O'Donnell, for the murder of Jarneg Cnr-y at Port Elizabeth, shall take pl.--.ee in England, and the prisoner will accordingly be sent back to this country under arrest. The news of Carey's death appears to have inspired new vigor among the Land Leaguers, and iu consequence of this jurors who decided in the Phcen : x Park trials, and the leading officials othe Court, are protected by a large staff of constabulary. O'Donnell, who shot Carey, is one of the ' Invincibles.' j> Capetown, July 31. borne further details have been obtained regarding the murder of Jame« Carev at Port Elizabeth. It is now know that he wa6 shot by O'Donnell in tlie presence of bis family. It is, however, uncertain whether ho was tracked from Ireland. New York, Aug. 2. It is currently reported here that Motley, one of the witnesses in the trial of Timothy Kelly, who was hanged for the murder of Lord P. Cavendish and Mr Burk, has been murdered at Philadelphia.
