The district rehabilitation officer for Taranaki, Mr. E. S. Summers, left New Plymouth on Saturday to attend a Dominion conference of rehabilitation officers at Wellington. Dr. C. S. Lang, A.R.C.M., F.R.S.A., examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London, who conducted practical examinations at New Plymouth in the past week, will leave this morning for Central and South Taranaki. The vice-president of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, Mr. J. H. Sheat, and Messrs. W. P. Griffith and M. J. T. Fraser, members of the council, will represent the chamber at the annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, which will begin at Christchurch to-morrow. The conference will extend over three days.
