Waverley Farewell

A farewell social evening in honour of the Rev. Mr. Ross and Mrs. Ross, who are l»aving the Waverley district for Geraldine, South Canterbury, was held in the Presbvterian Cur.day school. Mr. and Mrs. Ross were presented with gifts from the following organisations: The congregation (a cheaue). Plunket Society. P.W.M.U., Scouts. basketball club and busy bees. Mrs. Ross was presented with a bouquet of roses and with a basket of oeaches on behalf of the children. Visitors were present from Patea, Hawera and Wanganui.
