Health Inspectors Meet

The quarterly conference of Taranaki health inspectors, held at New Plymouth, was attended by borough council inspectors from Hawera, Stratford and New Plymouth and Department of Health inspectors covering other districts. The quarterly conferences, which are held in turn at the main centres in Taranaki, are for the purpose of discussing matters pertaining to the administration of the by-laws and regulations connected with the Health Act and the work of the inspectors generally. The conference was presided over by Dr. J. H. Blakelock, medical officer of health for Taranaki. The inspectors were welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. E. R. C. Gilmour. Papers were delivered by Messrs. J. W. Brimblecombe (Eltham), L. Hunt (Hawera) and A. E. Sayers (Stratford) on particular aspects and developments in the field of the inspectors' work.
