CHURCH CONCERT

FLOWER SHOW FUNDS ST. MARY'S PROGRAMME A successful concert was held in St. Mary's hall, Hawera, on Thursday night to raise funds for the forthcoming church flower show. The function was organised by a committee of church workers. There was an excellent attendance of parishioners and their friends and the standard of the ~rogramme was high. The programme was: Duet, Shirley Stokes and Margaret Taylor; dance, tinytots; song, Miss M Duffill; dance, Geraldine Walsh; dialogue, Cecily and Barbara Goodchap; song, Miss N. Death; recitation, Cecily Stokes; song, Miss Li Morris; dance duo, Geraldine Walsh and Joyce Black; recitation, Miss J. Knightbridge; play, "Her.ry Kacket's Prize," Misses K. Petersen and N. Nixon and Messrs. W. O'Shannessy and R. Bosworth. The producer was Miss Nancy Kent. Pianoforte accompaniments were played by Mrs. C. Walsh and Mr. A. E. Morris was stage manager and announcer.
