Vivid stories of the British air raids on Kiel and Wilhelmshaven were told by pilots who took part. Counter-Flockade. German U-boats have been ordered to commence a counter-blockade, according to a message from Berlin. Partition of Poland. It was reported at Berlin that Germany and Bussia have reached an understanding regarding the partition of Poland. Appeal for Aid. The Polish Ambassador at London sent a Note to the Foreign Office urging inore effective British assistance in Poland. Soviet Charges. Significant allegations of Poland's oppression oi its Russian minority were contained in an article in a Moscow newspaper. Nazi Terrorism. Germany's intention to bomb open towns in Poland has roused a feeling of horror in Britain. Retaliatory action is threatened. German Campaign. At the close of the second week of the war Germany has completed the first stage bf her campaign in Poland, it is stated from Berlin.
