PROMOTION ANNOUNCED

MR. C ARDNO TO LEAVE Mr. R. W. Cardno, superintendent of the telegraph branch of the Stratford Post Office, has been promoted to the position of postmaster at Henderson. It is expected that he will leave to. take over his new duties in the near future. For more than eight years Mr. Cardno has been attached to the staff of the Stratford office and he has been in the department for 33 years. No appointment to replace him at Stratford has yet been made. Mr. Cardno is very well known at Stratford and is at present the chairman of the Stratford primary school committee.
