STRATFORD
Misses D. and O. Ellis were Waitara visitors, to Stratford recently. Mrs. C. S. Lucas leaves this week-end on a visit to Wellington. Miss S. Manoy, who was visiting Stratford, has returned to her home at Auckland. Miss L. Till was. a stratford visitor to New Plymouth during the week. Mrs. W. Hoskin left Stratford on Thursday for Auckland, where she will live in future. Mrs. F. Nolan leaves to-day for New Plymouth, where she will spend three weeks' holiday at Ngamotu beach. Mrs. A. Moon and Miss E. Moon were visitors to New Plymouth during the week. Mrs. H. Berman left Stratford at the end of last week for Auckland, from where she sails for a holiday trk> to Canada for a few months. Mrs. A. Coleman was an aftemoon tea hostess at her residence in Regan Street on Friday. Mrs. Sole has returned to her home at Stratford after a holiday at Auckland. Mrs. M. Coward and Miss Helen Coward are Stratford visitors to Waitara for the week-end. Mrs. R. Strachan left on Thursday for Wanganui and Wellington, where she will spend a fortnight's holiday. Mrs. E. C. Middleton, Pembroke Road, was "at home" to friends for aftemoon tea during the week. Mrs. J. McAllister is spending a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. H.. Gordon, who was spending several weeks' holiday at Christchurch, has returned to Stratford. Mrs. V. C. Fookes left at the end of the week for a holiday at Napier. Mrs. J. B. Gibbs has returned to her home after a month's holiday at Auckland and Waihi. Miss Donivan is a Wanganui visitor to Stratford and is the guest of the Misses Laverty. Mrs. F. R. S. Anstis has returned to her home in Pembroke Road after a short holiday at Petone and a three weeks' motor tour of the Wellington province. Mrs. G. Kehely was .a visitor to New Plymouth last week for the SmithWalker wedding. Visitors to Stratford for the silver jubilee celebrations of Mr. and Mrs. George Lamplough were Mesdames Young, Finnerty, Badley, Mr. and Mrs. D. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. T. Waters ahd Misses Finnerty, Badley and Mr. Russell (all of Waitara), Miss McLeod (Hawera), Mr. and Mrs. Hendren, Mrs. Jerard and Miss Watson (Christchurch).
