PUZZLES FOR TINKS TO SOLVE. Answers to last week's puzzles:— Fldwer Garden: Carnation, violet, sweet-pea, daisy, hydrangea. geranium, buttercup, wallflower. Puzzle word: Starfish. RIDDLE-ME-REE. Melba Terrill has sent this riddle for Tinks to solve, and I think she must have made it up herself. Can you guess its answer? My first is in writing but not in print, My second is in steel but not in flint, . My third is in near but not in far, My fourth is in dray but not in car, My fifth is in Yule but not in mule. And my whole is a person all Tinks know. NAME ME PLEASE? Look at my face and I'll tell you the time, Or wait for the hour and I'll musically chime; Tell me my name, please, for surely you know My face and my voice, and my hands moving slow. But now, if you take off my head you will see That I am as different as different can be Still, I am useful, but people need keys If they want me to help them now— Do name me please!
