ANNUAL CALF JUDGING

RESULTS AT HURWORTH The annual calf judging for "the Hurworth district was held on Monday at the old Carrington Road school grounds. Competition was very good, there being 12 entries. The judges were Messrs. Silk, Bayly and Mclntire, who, after the judging, gave an jnteresting talk on the good points of a calf. Results of the judging were:— Leading: Jean Schrider 1, Paul Schrider 2, Doreen Spence 3. Dairy type: Trevor Gilbert 1, Ivan Farmer 2, Jack Gilbert 3. Condition: Ivan Farmer 1, William Cole 2. Jean Schrider 3. Cups for type and condition were presented to Ivan Farmer and Trevor Gilbert.
