SALE OF HEALTH STAMPS OVER £3000 REALISED New Zealand's health camps. for under-nourished children are due to commence their activities,; and the vol-i untary workers who carry them on will1 be encouraged by the public response to the post office annual appeal through the medium of health stamps. Irt ihe, week ended November 25 the finance of; the camps benefited from stamp saies and donations to hhe extent of £656 16s 8d, a remarkable achievement for one week. Ihe finanCial results for the seven weeks since the opening of the campaign show how Widespread will be the benefit of the camps, as receipts from stamp saies in each district are devoted 'to the deserving children of the same area. Details of total stamp saies and credits to the camps from the postal districts to November 23 are: —
| 754,232 £3142 12 8 Over 750,000 health stamps have been sold, with the result that the movement in aid oi the children is already assured of £3715 16s ld. This sum falls considerably short of the total required to 1 meet the cost of the maintenance ef over 4000 children in the camps.
