UNIVERSITY GRADUATES
FIVE REPRESENTATIVES
Wellington, Sept 22. # The election to the senate of the University of New Zealand of five representatives of gradiiates will, take place on October 5 and the results will be announced about October 14. The last election three years • ago was not contested but this year there are eight nominations, including those of five srt" ting memibers. The nominees are Mrs. Qertrude Helflfi Benson, M.A., wife of Professor Bensa*. Otago University; Mr. F. H. Campbell. M.A., Dunedin; Mr. N. M. P. Gibsen, M.A., Auckland; Mr. F. A. de la Maxe. B.A., LL.B.; Mr. A. E. Flbwer, M.A., M.Sc., Christchurch; Dr. William Newlands, M~A.., B.Sc.( N.Z.), MB., Ch.B. (Edin.), F.R.C.S. (Edin.), Dunedin; Professor G. W. von Zedlitz, M.A. (Oxford), Wellington; Mr. T. U. Wells, M.A., Auckland. Those nominees who are sitting members are Mr. de la Mare, Mr. Flower, Dr. Newlands, Professor von Zedlitz and Mr. Wells. All graduates of the University of New Zealand are eligible to vote in the election.
