Wellington, Last Night In the Transport Amendment Bill which the Minister, the Hon. R. Semple, hopes to present to Parliament during the coming session, a clause has been reintroduced providing for the registration of bicycles, Mr. Semple announced at to-day's meeting of the New Zealand Road Safety Council. Mr. Semple said that when registration was proposed before there was' some opposition at Christchurch. He pointed out to a meeting there that registration was in the interests of the owner himself, for without registration a person losing a bicycle had little hope of getting it back.
