Organisation Society Ltd. v. W. L. Sattler, £14 ls lOd (£2 16s); E. G. Lambert v. E. Leach, £1 10s (8s); A. M. Humphrey v. L. Lewis, £6 14s (£1 14s 6d); E. J. O'Dea v. F. Goodwin, £6 6s (£1 10s 6d); D. Beale v. G. A. Smith, £4 14s lOd (£1 4s 6d); Farmers' Co-op. Organisation Society Ltd. v. W. Millar, £4 19s lOd (£1 4s 6d); Geo. Scott v. J. Moore, 17s 6d (8s). _ • Orders were made on judgment summonses as follows: D. Toa to pay D. B. Nicholson £4 15s 3d forthwith, in default five days' imprisonment; A. Fletcher to pay Para Rubber Co. Ltd. £4 ls, in default four days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended upon the payment of 10s a week; J. G. Catley to pay G. Syme and Co. Ltd. £12 13s 5d (solicitor's fees £1 ls), in default 13 days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended upon the payment of 15s a month; F. Goodwin to pay F. E. Cooksley £3 19s 3d forthwith, in default foUr days' imprisonment; A. Fletcher to pay Taranaki Service Stations Ltd. £73. 8s 7d (solicitor's fees £2 2s), in default . 73 days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended upon the payment of £4 a month. A claim of the Farmers' Co-op. Organisation Society of New Zealand Ltd. (Mr. M. J. Burns) against G. S. Bremner, Palmerston* North (Mr. B. Malone), was upheld. Bremner submitted that the debt had been satisfied by a number of troughs he had sent to the Farmers' Co-op., whereas the firm cohtended that it was to sell the troughs on behalf of Bremner and reimburse itself from the proceeds. However, the troughs were not sold. Mr. Salmon held that the true construction of the arrangement was that the firm simply acted as an agent for Bremner.
