CHRISTCHURCH MECHANIC HIS SECRET LEAKS OUT

Christchurch, Aug. 4. The winner of the £2000 prize in the "All For Me" art union is Mr. Pat Consedine, single, aged 22 years, who lives with his widowed mother a.t 167 Edinburgh Street, Spreydon. Mr. Consedine wanted to keep his good luck a close secret, but he could not resist the temptatlon to tell a number of friends, with the result that today the secret leaked out. •>-' Mr. Consedine is employed by a motor mechanic and about a month ago met with an accident which caused an injury to his leg and he still has to receive daily massage treatment. The winner spent this morning in the company of his employer, keeping ; well clear of newspaper reporters and salesmen.
