Buist, who -visited Wellington recently, has returned. Mrs. G. R. Watts is spending a holiday as the guest. of her sister, Mrs. Cameron, at Taumarunui. Mrs. W. Lewin, Okato, was the guest of her daughter, Mrs, G. Williams, last v/eek-end. Miss- 1, Mourie has returned to Manaia, after spending an extended holiday at Auckland. ; Mrs.. E. Gopperth, accompanied by her daughters, Mrs. Hemsley,. Kaponga, and Misses S. and I. Gopperth, has returned after a tour of Australia. ■Miss D. Paterson is spending a holiday at Wellington. ' Mrs. A. Chong left during the week for a holiday at Pahnerston North. ! Mrs. W. J. . McDonald, Kaupokonui, is attending the ; W.D.F.U. ' conference at V/ellington. - ' Mrs. Boyd, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. G. Cottrell, Normanby Road. Misses K. Bourke, E. Sutton and F. Sutton were visitors to Pungarehu on Thursday night for the Hibernian lodge balL Mrs. V. F. Winter has returned after spending a few days with her parents at Hastings. Mrs. W. J. Cryer is spending a holiday at Taihape. Mrs. A. Hart nas returned from a holiday in the South Island. . Wearing an afternoon frock of black ring velvet, Mrs. Wallace Wilton on Tues- - day afternoon entertained friends to meet Mrs. G. J. Calman, when Mesdames V. H. Hobday, V. F. Winter, J. Crompton, C. R. Davies, R. S. F. Craig, W. Josephson, N. MacDiarmid, E. Buist, C. Blathwayt, G. R. Watts, E. Vine and O. T. Parry were her guests.
