GERMAN IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA. VEILED THREATS IN THE PRESS.

Berlin, June 17. The Press gives prominence, accompanied by veiled threats of reprisal, to. the alleged torture of the German Bruno Weigel in a Czechoslovakian prlsan at Prague. Weigel was arrested and it is alleged that he was tortured because he refused to give information about Nazi activities in Czechoslovakia. He was released without explanation. The Press says that the soles of his feet were beaten with rubfrer truncheons and electricity was applied to them. He was told that he and his wife would be condemned to death.
