NEW ZEALAND'S BUTTER.

Levin, June 18. The more favourable positlon of New Zealand butter on the London market compared with Danish slnce the operation of the Labour Government's market system was mentioned by Mr. J. G. Barclay, member for Marsden, speaking here last evening. New Zealand butter mider the guaranteed price had been on the markot since November last year, he said. Compared with the 1935-36 season the November and June market value thus far was 6/7 a cwt. higher. Danish butter during the same period decreased by 1/8 a cwt. and the difference now was decreased by 8/3. The increase to the New Zealand dairy industry was £1,750,000.
