. .. DISTRICT. PERSONAL ITEMS. The usual fortnightly euchre party v as held at the school on Tuesday night, 5J tables being engaged in play. The prize-winners were Mrs. F. Parr 1, Mrs. Fleming 2. and Mrs. Kebbell consolation, and Mr. R. Parr 1, after playing oif with Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Fitzgibbon consolation. Mr. J. Burkitt has returned home from a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Welsh- have returned from a visit to Opunake. Mr. Jack Farnham, Auckland, is-yis- j iting his mother.
