MONEY TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION. PROBLEMS OF NATIONAL POLICY.

r 1 Wellington, Last Night. Cabinet has approyed of a levy of tWopence a pig on all pigs slaughtered _in crder to provide instructional and advisory service for the pig industry. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, said to-night that the industry had developed so rapidly in the last few years that it was rapidly creating problems of national policy . On that score alone it demanded the attention of the Govemment. The levy was expected to yield £8,000 a year.
