APRIL FIGURES FOR DUNEDIN.
£40,000 MORE CUSTOMS REVENUE. Dunedin, Last Night. Customs revenue received at Dunedin during April totalled £142,803, compared with £102,690 for April of last year. Comparative figures are as follows, those for April, 1937; being given first:— Customs; £65,657 (£49,618); beer duty, £22,682 (£17,006); saies tax, £27,952 (£22,031); petrol tax, £14,465 (£11,958); tyre tax, £579 (£416); gold export duty, £1468 (£1661).
