. VOGELTOWN SCHOOL ROLL. Tlie attendance at the Vogeltown school during the past four weeks was slightly more than 94 per cent. of a roll of 200 pupils, reported the headmaster at a meeting of the school committee. The work was progressing satisfactorily. Miss Riding had started duty as a probationary assistant. Parts of the new playing area had beeri poorly grassed and fresh seed sown. The concrete work in front of the school was in very bad repair and was unsatisfactory in wet weather. A forcing frame was erected for the propagation of seedlings.
