NEW PLYMOUTH! ATTRACTION. . Tlie big axemen's caraival at New Plymouth on Coronation Day is already attracting attention from all parts of the Nbrth, Island. It is more than _20 years since axemen have beeh seen in action at New Plymouth, and as already two of New Zealand's best, A. Kinnard and A. Hughes, have signified their intentions of being present the public will be assured of spectacular work. The prize money for the cycling and athletic everits is the best offered in Taranaki this season and will doubtless attract good outside • talent. A car. load of Wellington's best will be present.
