SOLE BROS.' CIRCUS.
Thrills and entertainment of an unusual calibre are promised at New Plymouth to-night, when Sole Bros.' Circus will commence a two nights' season with a monster matinee to-morrow afternoon at 2.30. The circus has 30 international stars touring New Zealand. Some of the headliners are Captain Andrews and his trained lions and tigers, which perform together in a huge steel arena. The swhiging, balancing trapeze artist, La Belle Marie, features in a' unique act. Other performers are the seven Franchettis, in beautiful posing on unsupported ladders; the Lenter Sisters, flying trapeze artists. The Chalbert Bros. in feats of head-to-head balancing and up-side-down equilibrium are also headliners. The Silvester Sisters, double wire walkers, Goce and Chico, comedy acrobats on the rickety ladders, the five marvellous Ridgeways, the acrobats supreme Babette, wonder contortionist, and her .trained Pom., and the Delevante Sisters in a dental whirl are further attractions. George Loudon presents a troupe of performing elephants, and there are riders tumblers, acrobats, trained horses] pomes, clowns and dogs. The circus comes by special train,
