HALL SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual general meeting of the Ohangai Hall Society Mr. N. R- Meuli presided over a small attendance. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory position, the profit on the year being £11 17s 6d, and the total credit balance £28 17s lld. During the year the incorporation of the society had been effected, a special general meeting being called to earry out the necessary formalities. Following the
offer of £1 towards tlie cost of creeting a stage tlie committee decided to procccd with this work, the result being a stage suitable for all concert activities. The following committee was elected: Messrs. N. Meuli, M. Kitney, M. Boyle, A. Tidswell, G. Kerrisk, O. Tidswell, H. Townsend, W. Judd, D. Judd, and S. Kerrisjc. Mrs. John Kerrisk was re-appointed auditor, and klr. M. Kitney was appointed caretaker, At a subsequent meeting of the committee Mr. N. Meuli was reelected chairman and Mr. S. Kerrisk reelected secretary. Motions were passed expressing sympathy with the relatives of the late Mrs. J. Kerrisk jnr, and th« late Mr. P. McCarty.
