APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED. FOREIGN OFFICE SPOKESMAN.

Rec. 7.50 p.m. Tokio, April 27. Mr. Amau, Foreign Office spokesman, to-day announced his own appointment as Minister to Switzerland and as chief of the" Japanese Government bureau of intemational conference affairs. His successor as spokesman will be Mr. Tatsuo Kawai, hitherto consul-general at Shanghai, while Mr. T. Murai, formerly consuj-general at Sydney, will become Minister to Siam.
