OPUNAKE GYMNASIUM FOOTBALL CLUB'S SOCIAL. There was a good attendancc at thc adjourned meeting of the Opunake Gymnasium Club. Mr. H. Farkes presided. The following officers were appointed: Patron, Mr. R. S. JenkSi; president, Mr. F. Barraclough; seven vice-presidents; secretax-y, Mr. R. Coad; treasurer, Mr. C. Bowater; drill instructor, Mr. Bell; club captain, Mr. F. Barraclough; wrestling instructor, Mr. J. Fake; boxing instructor, Mr. F. Riddell; honorary surgeons, Drs. T. N. Watt and E. M. Griffen; executive committee, president, club captain, treasurer, secretary and Mr. H. Parkes. The Opunake Football Club's euchre and dance party was well attended. The winners were: Mr. Bert Hickey 1, Mr. F. McClinsky 2, Miss O. Lockley 1, Mrs. Johnson 2. Competition winners were Dr. E. M. Griffen and Mr. R. Cairns Music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs. T. Quin and J. Hickey. Mesdames Wallis and Gadsby were the hostesses.
