GOVERNMENT MOTION DEFEATED. POSSIBILITY OF RESIGNATION.

Rec. 6.45 p.m. Edmonton, March 25. Beaten on an adjournment motion by 27 votes to 25, the Premier, Mr. William Aberhart, gave notice of closure of the Budget debate, which will be resumed on Monday. A Government spokesman declares that if the Budget is defeated the Government will resign. Twenty-one insurgents demand the immediate launching of a definite plan of social credit on Douglas lines.
