PROGEESS OF LADDER MATCHES. A meeting of the Radnor Tennis Club committee was held on Saturday night. Those present were Messrs. G. Vickers (president), J. B. Hunt (hon. secretary), R. Vickers, M. Askew and Miss B. Hunt. A letter was received from the secretary of the South Taranaki Lawn Tennis Association, explaining the position of C grade competitions, but as the club has only one court it was , decided not to affiliate with the association. Arrangements were ftnalised for a match to be played on Easter Monday. Teams were picked. by Messrs. R. Vickers and M. AskfiWi * The handicap ladder competitions will close ot) Saturday and cups for the.top players have been pfesented by Messrs. L. Clarke and G. Lirtdsay. An offer of Mrs. F, M. Rookes for the use of her home for a social evening was accepted with thanks.
