CAR OVERTURNS

MAN RECEIVES HEAD INJURIES. ESCAPE OF OTHER OCCUPANTS. Overturning in loose shingle, a car containing four persons came to grief at the corner of the New Plymouth- Waitara and Mountain roads yesterday morning. Mr. F. Corbett, Hawera, received injuries about the head and was admitted to the New Plymouth hospital after being attended by Dr. R. L. Barclay, Waitara. He was progressing satisfactorily when inquiries were made last night. Except for.slight bruises received by a child, the three other occupants of the car escaped injury.
