WEEK-END COMPETITIONS. A nurnber of visiting players took parl in competitions played at Pungarehu furing the week-end. Results are:— First medal round: E. H. Gray 84 — 20 — 64. E^rst stableford: J. N. Goodson 25 — 11 ~|jfecond medal: R. B. Fleming 81—10—71. fcombined stableford: B. Brophy and Miss J. Gray 64. In the final of the men's junior championship F, J. McDavitt beat E. H. Gray 8 and 7 over 36 lioles. A women's silver button competition resulted in a win for Miss M. Brophy snr. and Mrs. J. W. Priest jnr.
