BOYS ELECTROCUTED
BATHERS TOUCH OVERHEAD WIRE. FATAL ACCIDENT' WHILE DIVING. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Brisbane, Dec. 27. Joseph Gehrmarm, aged 17, and Robert Richardson, aged 15, .were electro? cuted in a public bathing enclosure at Scarness. They were seated on a springboard when a strong wind swung an overhead wire dangerously low, and as Gehrmann stood up to dive his arms touched the wire. He was hurled forward and he took the wire with him. It alsb touched Richardson, and both fell into the water. Their bodies were later recovered. |
