Sensational incidents marked a disastrous fire on Saturday afternoon at Waterloo, a suburb of Sydney, where a three-storeyed building occupied by Australian Slippers Ltd. was destroyed and a building on the opposite side of the road was damaged. _ The slipper factory collapsed into the street and at least a dozen firemen received burns, while three civilians were also injured. The damage is estimated at £30,000. Three buildings on each side of Australian Slippers Ltd. were damaged by fire and water.
