WHEEL COMES OFF

PLATE-GLASS WINDOW BROKEN. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE DONE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Extensive damage was caused when the wheel came off a motor-car travelling in the city to-night. It rolled across the road and smashed a plate-glass window in the shop of J. W. Saunders and Co., watchmakers. The window was wrecked and much of the stock on display was thrown from the shelves, several pieces of glassware being broken. The motor-car was driven by Mr. S. M. Robinson, Remuera.
