OEO RESIDENTS’ LUCK

GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. Two residents of Oeo Road have won small prizes in recent art unions. There has been much activity at the Maori pa lately. A party of Ratana Maoris were in residence there for a short period. The Waimate West County Council staff has completed the widening of the Main South Road and the crusher which has become a familiar sight on Oeo Road, has been moved to Omuturangi Road, where metalling is to be done.

Miss Ethel Masters was a visitor to the district recently.
