reduction of interest act. MR. POLSON CONTRADICTED. “The banks were not included in the 20 per cent, reduction of interest as Mr. Polson said at Urenui,” said Mr. C. R. Finnerty, Democrat candidate for,'Stratford, at Pukengahu last night. “During the Urenui address Mr. Polson said the Government had reduced interest. He said that at one time he opposed interest reduction but at last realised the necessity for it and had been responsible for the banks being included. “The banks were not included,” said Mr. Finnerty. “He read sections of the Act to prove his point and claimed that Mr. Polson did not know what he was talking about,
