HOTEL DESTROYED
disastrous fire in the north. BOARDERS AND STAFF ESCAPE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarei, Nov. 14. The Settlers’ Hotel at Kaeo, about 70 miles north of Whangarei, was destroyed by fire at 1.30 o’clock this morning. Two boarders'and a staff of four escaped in their night attire. Nothing was saved.
