POLITE.
The history teacher was becoming im- <. patient at the poorly-prepared lesson. "If there is anyone in this room who doesn’t know anything, please stand,” he shouted. Ben, an unusually polite boy, and a good student, stood. “Do you mean that you don’t know anything?” asked the surprised instructor. “Oh, no,” replied the boy. “I didn’t think it was polite to let you be the iiorily one standing.”
