MORRIS CLUB RALLY

AIMS OF NEW ORGANISATION. The opening rally of the recently established Taranaki “Morris” club will be held at Everett Park, Inglewood, on Sunday, cars to leave the post offices at New Plymouth, Waitara and Stratford at 10 a.m, The formation of the “Morris” club Is an innovation in Taranaki but the club has been formed on the lines of similar bodies in England by private owners in no way associated with the trade. There are no rules or restrictions other than that membership is confined to owners or Morris cars, whose co-operation and support is desired. Outings and tours will bo arranged and rallies held monthly during the summer. Simple and interesting competitions but no strenuous or speed trials will be conducted, and useful trophies will be provided. AU drivers should have no hesitation in taking part, Increased motoring enjoyment and social contact based on common interest, also greater performance from cars, should result from association with the club.
