DEATH OF MR. H. F. OSBORN. LIFELONG INTEREST IN ZOOLOGY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8 p.m. New York, Nov. 6. Mr. Henry Fairfield Osborn, scientist, author and explorer, died to-day of heart disease. He was 77 years of age. He devoted his life to the study of zoology, holding chairs in several American universities and being a member of many of the more important scientific institutions or societies in other countries.
