There has been in operation at Fitzroy during the past three or four months an experimental incinerator designed by Mr. R. Day. Tire incinerator is in use on Fridays and Saturdays and the public are invited to inspect the installation this (Friday) afternoon or Saturday morning. Being of an experimental nature, the construction is necessarily crude, but it is sufficient to show the efficiency of the method adopted.*
