SCHOOL CANDIDATES

DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATIONS. UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SITTING. The annual examinations of the Education Department will commence at New Plymouth on November 20 and finish on November 29. They will be held in the technical college building under the supervision of Miss M. D. Campbell. Thirty-three candidates will sit for the intermediate examinations, including those for free places, which will begin on November 20 and finish on November 29. From November 20 to November 27 seventeen students will .sit for training college entrance examinations and four’ will sit for technology examinations from November 25 to November 29. Examinations for school certificates will be held on November 28 and November 29, but no candidates are so far recorded as entrants. Candidates for university degrees are at present sitting in the Agricultural Hall under the supervision of Mrs. F. Carter and assistants. "
