Buck Ruxton, a Lancashire doctor accused of the murder of his nursemaid, has been further charged with murdering his wife. He was remanded after an angry outburst in which he declared: “My religion would not allow me to do it.” Portions of human bodies, including the heads of a man and a woman, wrapped in newspapers, were found in a deep ravine at Gardenholm, Dumfriesshire, recently and later other gruesome parcels, apparently scattered in the ravine from a motor-car, were also discovered.
