OHURA GOLF CLUB BALL
' PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. Despite the rain there was a large attendance at the Ohura Golf Club’s annual ball in the Plaza Theatre on Friday. Music was supplied by McMinn’s Melody Boys, Taumarunui. Mr. W. K. Williams gave a short address and presented the trophies won during the season as follows: Men's senior championship, W. K. Williams; junior championship, H. Reeve; president’s trophy, W. K. Williams; women’s senior championship, Miss E. Koorey; runner-up, Mrs. M. Williams; junior championship, Miss E. MacClure; runner-up, Mrs. Stuart; twoday medal round, Miss E. MacClure; eclectic, Mrs. ,W. K. Williams; eclectic handicap, Mrs. Stuart.
